We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Auditor to join our Risk management team in Langley, BC.  
 

Reporting to the Manager, Risk and Audit, you will be responsible for building strong business partnerships, influencing decisions, and driving improvements to align audit activities with business goals. In this role, you will lead audits while collaborating with key stakeholders across departments to understand business operations, identify risks, and provide strategic recommendations.

You will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to business units, collaborating closely to identify risks, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Leading audits with an emphasis on adding business value, providing recommendations that improve performance and manage risk.

  • Communicating audit findings to senior leadership in a way that’s relevant to their business challenges and priorities, driving actionable solutions.

  • Working proactively with business leaders to assess risks, internal controls and operational performance against business objectives

  • Partnering with finance, operations, and IT teams to drive process improvements and enhance business operations.

  • Guiding junior auditors in developing a business-oriented audit approach and fostering a collaborative mindset.

You have:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a field relevant to the grocery industry.

  • CPA and/or CIA designation.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in audit with a focus on building business relationships and driving operational improvements.

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • A strategic and results-oriented thinker with strong problem-solving abilities. 

  • An excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Capable of handling sensitive information with tact and confidentiality.

Compensation Details:

$92,880.00 - $116,100.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
