Job Location:

Job Description:
In this position as a Federal Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in assessing the financial viability and creditworthiness of applicants seeking federal credit assistance. In this position, you will also:
- Evaluate the economic soundness of projects and the creditworthiness of applicants.
- Analyze the historic financial performance of borrowers.
- Perform detailed financial calculations and establish ratios related to the overall financial structure of the transaction, prior financial experience, and industry benchmarks.
- Assess the strengths and weaknesses of borrower management teams.
- Review and evaluate feasibility studies for proposed projects.
- Assess proposed markets, including market studies/surveys, borrower relationships with major customers, and projected demand.
- Review and evaluate ownership structures of transactions.
- Prepare amortization schedules for proposed credit facilities.
- Prepare and present written and oral reports to senior stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in financial modeling and credit risk analysis.
- 3 years of experience working with historical financial analysis, cash flow analysis, market analysis, and financial viability testing of project assumptions.
- 3 years of experience building and interpreting complex financial models and ratios to support credit decisions.
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated experience evaluating federal or large-scale commercial credit programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to conduct market assessments and compare financial assumptions against industry benchmarks.
- CFA, CPA, FRM, or other relevant financial certification.
At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $160,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
