We are accepting applications from candidates based in Vancouver (primary location) or Toronto.

The Senior Analyst / Associate, Corporate Development will be a key member of the Corporate Development team, supporting the origination, evaluation, development, and execution of investments across North America, including greenfield development projects, strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and P3 opportunities.

Sitting at the intersection of the energy transition, infrastructure, and finance, the role will work across financial modelling, investment analysis, due diligence, transaction execution, and internal approval processes. The position offers exposure to both greenfield infrastructure development and M&A, with meaningful responsibility from day one, direct interaction with senior leadership, and a clear pathway for professional growth.

We are seeking an intellectually curious, commercially minded, and engaged early-career professional with excellent financial modelling and presentation skills, strong analytical capabilities, and a genuine desire to learn and build a career in infrastructure.

  • Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses to evaluate greenfield development projects, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, P3 opportunities, and other growth initiatives.
  • Conduct financial and commercial due diligence, synthesizing findings from internal teams and external advisors.
  • Support the screening and underwriting of opportunities, including the assessment of commercial, financial, technical, regulatory, financing, and other strategic considerations.
  • Conduct market and industry analyses to assess the strategic fit and value creation potential of investment opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify potential acquisition, development, and partnership opportunities.
  • Prepare investment committee materials, management and Board presentations, and external materials.
  • Support live development and transaction workstreams by coordinating inputs, tracking issues and advancing deliverables.
  • Assist with proposals, qualification packages, and strategic submissions, including responses to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and other procurement processes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI tools, workflow automation, and other technologies across the Corporate Development team.
Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, infrastructure advisory, project finance, transaction advisory, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently own financial models and discrete development or transaction workstreams, exercise sound commercial judgement, and produce decision-ready analysis and materials with limited supervision.

Required Skills

  • Strong financial modelling capabilities, including experience building and maintaining infrastructure development, project finance, and acquisition models.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and an eagerness to learn and develop within the infrastructure sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize commercial, financial, technical, and regulatory information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience evaluating development projects, infrastructure investments, M&A transactions, or public-private partnership opportunities.
  • Exposure to infrastructure, power, energy, utilities, real estate or related sectors.
  • Experience developing VBA tools, macros, or workflow automation solutions within Microsoft 365.
  • Experience using Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI-enabled productivity tools.

The expected starting salary range for this position is $100,000-$120,000 CAD, with the final salary determined by the successful candidate's skills, experience, and anticipated impact within the role.
