What is the Opportunity?
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant supports key financial processes (AR, AP, Payroll, Tax Compliance) leveraging NetSuite ERP to streamline workflows, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
Mode of Work: Hybrid
What will you do?
Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Prepare financial reports and reconciliations related to AR.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely invoicing and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Support revenue recognition as per IFRS 15.
- Collaborate with treasury and provide weekly inputs for AR and collection forecast to ensure accurate and timely cash management.
Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process invoices and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Perform reconciliations and manage month-end closing activities.
Payroll Processing:
- Manage payroll changes, ensuring accurate employee compensation.
- Collaborate closely with Human Resources to adhere to internal payroll processes, ensuring alignment between Human Resources policies and payroll execution.
- Ensure payroll tax compliance and promptly resolve discrepancies.
NetSuite ERP & Automation:
- Optimize financial processes through NetSuite automation.
- Suggest improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.
Audit Support:
- Assist internal/external audits with necessary documentation.
What do you need to succeed?
- 3-5 years accounting experience (full cycle).
- NetSuite ERP experience (reporting & automation).
- Interest in automating accounting processes to enhance efficiency and productivity through generative AI.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and capability to interpret financial data clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated initiative, dedication, and a proactive approach to solving problems.
