We’re seeking a Senior Account Executive to help drive activation sales across agency holding companies and large independent agencies. This role will focus on building new agency relationships, while accelerating adoption of Yobi’s data-driven solutions with existing clients. This will largely entail migrating clients from legacy activation strategies (like audiences) to Yobi’s foundational propensity models. The ideal candidate brings hands-on AdTech sales experience, a deep understanding of agency activation workflows, and the drive to make a direct impact in a high-growth startup environment.
Responsibilities
● Drive activation sales across HoldCos (WPP, Omnicom, Publicis, Havas, etc.) and large independents (Horizon Media, Canvas Worldwide, etc.)
● Represent Yobi in market with face to face client engagement, networking and relationship building
● Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing activation deals for HoldCos.
● Translate audience and custom algorithm capabilities into actionable campaign solutions.
● Collaborate with the Director Agency Sales and Partnerships and SVP of Business Development to support enterprise-level partnerships.
● Maintain a pulse on client needs and campaign performance to identify growth opportunities.
● Represent Yobi AI with professionalism, curiosity, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
This role will report directly to the SVP of Business Development as Yobi AI looks to build their founding sales team to scale the adoption of Yobi’s business. This role will also be working very closely alongside the Director Agency Sales and Partnerships (Hold Cos) that Yobi is currently hiring for who will also be reporting directly to the SVP of BD.
What We’re Looking For
● Strong grasp of activation sales in AdTech or MarTech sales, ideally selling into agencies or HoldCos (ideally 3-4 years in the role)
● Experience selling programmatic campaigns/IOs or campaign optimization solutions (eg: custom bidding algorithms).
● Understanding of custom audience solutions (Custom 1P Audiences, 3P Audiences, CRM, Curation) and how the impact programmatic ad buying.
● Agency network or prior experience working with HoldCo media teams strongly preferred.
● Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable working autonomously and iterating quickly in a startup setting.
● Hunger to be part of a founding sales team at an early stage startup.
● Strong communicator with a collaborative approach and startup agility.
● Location in New York a plus.
