We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Security Solution Architect for our Vancouver Branch! In this role, you will deliver security solutions to our clients across a broad range of industries and technologies!
A Day in the Life:
- Design, architect, and implement proven solutions that will solve business challenges in the fields of business continuity, IT resilience, and IT risk management
- Assist with pre-sales engagements and qualification of sales opportunities, at least 50% of your time will be spent doing pre-sales meaning bringing potential new business opportunity
- Continuously improve team processes to ensure information is of the highest quality, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team
- Provide detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, transition to operations information
- As a trusted advisor, deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementation
- Validate clients' existing architecture, identify gaps and assist the various business and technical teams with gathering their business use cases
- Team up with other senior consultants to create and implement proven solutions
- Conduct peer reviews
- Responding to client escalations
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in the field of IT security and managed security services
- You have developed a niche or specialization within the security space
- Experience in operations, sales, pre-sales, architecture, advisory and management of IT security initiatives
- First-hand experience with data breaches and escalation processes, both organizationally and legally
- Deep understanding of vulnerability analysis procedures and deliverables
- Extensive experience in rolling out network security solutions such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, two-factor authentication, Security Incident Management (SIM) solutions, vulnerability management, firewall migrations, BCM/DRP
- Strong knowledge of governance, risk and compliance including ISO 27001 ISMS
- Experience in building, positioning and delivering professional services at a solution provider
- Ability to work in complex environments with subject matter experts and other technical disciplines
- Knowledge of toolsets appropriate for application and infrastructure assessments performance, security and capacity planning
