The SEO Specialist manages client SEO strategies, conducts keyword research, performs technical audits, optimizes content, and analyzes performance to drive organic traffic growth for multiple clients.
We’re looking for an SEO Specialist to join our team – someone with 1-2 years of experience (preferably in an agency setting) who is eager to take ownership of client SEO strategies, execution, and reporting. What You’ll Do
- Manage and execute SEO strategies for multiple retainer clients, ensuring consistent growth in organic traffic and rankings.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to guide content and on-page optimizations.
- Perform technical SEO audits and work with internal teams or client developers to implement improvements.
- Optimize existing and new content to align with SEO best practices, ensuring maximum visibility and engagement.
- Track performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and other SEO tools, providing clear and actionable client reports.
- Support link-building efforts by identifying opportunities for authoritative backlinks and off-page SEO growth.
- Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to continuously refine strategies.
- Work collaboratively with content strategists, writers, and editors to align SEO efforts with high-quality content.
- Take ownership of SEO execution, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and aligned with client goals.
What We’re Looking For
- 1-2 years of SEO experience, ideally in an agency setting working with multiple clients.
- A strong understanding of on-page, technical, content, and off-page SEO.
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar SEO tools.
- Experience conducting SEO audits and implementing recommendations.
- Ability to analyze performance data and translate it into meaningful insights and strategic actions.
- Experience with a variety of CMS systems, including Wordpress, Webflow, Shopify, etc.
- Strong initiative and accountability – you take ownership of your work and drive projects forward.
- Expert project and time management skills - you are capable of managing multiple deadlines and prioritizing project, and you’ve got experience with management tools like Teamwork.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills – you can explain SEO concepts to clients in a clear, non-technical way.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Bonus: Experience with content marketing, editorial SEO, or AI-driven content strategies is a plus!
