Position Title: SAP Architect
Position Type: Regular - Full-Time

We are looking for a senior level Handson Techno-Functional, business savvy SAP Architect (SAP ECC/S4 HANA Architect) who will be responsible for envisioning, communicating, and evolving the IT landscape inside and outside of SAP. You have working knowledge of the SAP ecosystem, and experience with migration to S/4HANA.
SAP architect is responsible for designing and implementing SAP solutions that align with a company's business needs by evaluating requirements, creating technical architecture blueprints, overseeing system integration, and providing strategic guidance on SAP technologies to optimize performance and ensure seamless integration with other enterprise applications; essentially translating business needs into technical SAP solutions across various SAP modules such as Finance, MM, PP, QM, SD, PLM, etc. while maintaining alignment with industry best practices. SAP Architect should have experience in both SAP (ie BTP, GRC, Datasphere) and non-SAP systems integration.
The SAP Architect has experience in SAP technical sizing & design, installation, upgrade, S/4HANA migration, and day-to-day administration across multiple OS and database variants (including SAP HANA). Experience in SAP Technical Design for Hyperscaler Hosting is also beneficial (specifically MS Azure and AWS).
You will collaborate with our business leaders and partners, act as a trusted advisor, and lead technical transformations and implementations for our dynamic business, which covers our extended value chain from Agriculture through manufacturing, logistics and commercial, including retail / FMCG.
Job Responsibilities
The SAP Architect proactively and holistically helps and guides the enterprise leaders, product managers, product owners and distributed product delivery teams through transformation and optimization initiatives, supporting the formulation of business strategy, outcomes and capabilities. The SAP Architect's scope of activities includes helping the organization achieve targeted business outcomes related to growing revenue, optimizing costs, mitigating risks and improving sustainability.
Credentials and Experience

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
  • Ten or more years of business experience in strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis or experience as an SAP Technical and Domain architecture.
  • Fifteen or more years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multitier environment.
  • Business architecture and/or data and application architecture and/or technology architecture know-how incl. comprehensive knowledge about the SAP innovation strategy and latest SAP solution portfolio
  • At least 2 large scale Enterprise-wide SAP Implementation and Brownfield/Greenfield Migration Experience
  • Experience in Migration from SAP ECC to SAP/S4Hana on Cloud
  • Experience in SAP Cloud and Rise
  • Valid and current SAP certification(s) for SAP Cloud ERP and SAP Cloud platform technology
  • Enterprise architecture methodology and framework know-how, preferably TOGAF Certified
  • Knowledge of SAP Signavio
  • Knowledge of SAP LeanIX solutions

  • Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.
  • Understanding of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools, related graphical models, and frameworks.
  • Insight into information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
  • Understanding of various operating models such as project-centric and product-centric and also different types of agile principles, methodologies and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at the enterprise level.
  • Awareness of existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments.
  • Effective leadership skills with exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
  • Strong consulting skills such as targeted communications, engagement management, stakeholder management and business development.
  • Overall understanding of all components of enterprise SAP solution architecture, business & IT principles and processes.

  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs

Compensation Package : $111,700.00 - $149,000.00 CAD annually + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
