Salesforce Business Systems Analyst - Burnaby, BC  

We have an opportunity for a Salesforce Business Systems Analyst to join the IT GTM Product team, reporting to the Strategic Product Owner - Sales. In this role, you will work with business and IT teams to understand their needs, analyze requirements, and help design and build Salesforce solutions that improve our sales processes and support business growth. Collaborating closely with IT and GTM business stakeholders, you will play a key role as a trusted Salesforce expert, guiding stakeholders, championing best practices, and driving initiatives that elevate the organization’s digital transformation journey. This is a hybrid role with two days a week working in the Burnaby office. You must live in the Vancouver metro area.  

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do  

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and turn them into clear, scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Document requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria for new features and improvements
  • Design key Salesforce Sales Cloud components such as account hierarchies, ppportunity processes, and related objects.
  • Build automation to simplify and streamline daily user tasks
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to define needs, assess system impacts, and recommend the best solutions
  • Support user testing by creating test scenarios, validating results, and resolving issues
  • Improve existing Salesforce processes by identifying gaps and implementing enhancements
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce issues by finding root causes and delivering timely fixes
  • Work closely with developers, admins, and business teams to deliver high‑quality enhancements on schedule

Be Prepared — What You Bring  

  • 5 plus years of experience working with Salesforce as an Admin, Developer, Consultant, or in a techno‑functional role
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, including account hierarchies, opportunity stages, forecasting, and core CRM processes
  • Hands‑on experience with Salesforce technical tools such as Apex, LWCs, Flows, SOQL, and standard configuration best practices
  • Ability to work with cross‑functional teams, manage priorities, and clearly communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform Developer I, App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant) are highly preferred
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security, sharing, permissions, and governor limits
  • Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs), middleware, or data migration tools is a plus
  • Must live in the Vancouver metro area

  • Be fully embedded in our Salesforce ecosystem and operating as a trusted partner to both technical and business teams
  • Delivered meaningful improvements across Sales Cloud, strengthened data quality, stabilized or optimized key automations, and shipped enhancements that streamline workflows for our sales organization 
  • Own key components of our Salesforce roadmap, proactively identify opportunities for optimization, and contribute to stronger cross functional alignment through clear communication, structured documentation, and consistent delivery

One Year: 

  • Be a go to Salesforce expert and strategic advisor, driving major initiatives that elevate how Sales, RevOps, and cross functional partners operate in the platform 
  • Lead end-to-end solution design, establish repeatable standards and best practices, and champion innovation that scales with the business   
  • Shape long-term Salesforce strategy, guiding platform evolution ultimately making a lasting impact on our organization’s digital transformation
