About Kojo

It's time to build. Whether it's creating more housing, upgrading our infrastructure, or adapting to climate change, one thing is clear: the construction industry is at the center of solving our biggest problems. We’re making buildings cheaper and easier to build by transforming the way commercial construction companies buy their materials. Join us.

Founded in 2018, Kojo is now one of the fastest-growing construction technology companies in the world. Construction accounts for $10 trillion in global spend annually and we can’t live without its output - our roads, schools, hospitals, and offices. Despite this, there’s been very little innovation over the past 70 years in how materials - which constitute up to 40% of project costs - are bought and sold. This is our opportunity.

About the Role

As Sales Manager at Kojo Technologies, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of AEs and driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition and strategic sales initiatives. You will play a critical role in shaping our sales strategy, leading a team of sales professionals, and fostering strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate is someone with a proven track record in sales leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the construction tech industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.

  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop talent to ensure a high performing sales team.

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to target key markets and industries.

  • Monitor sales team performance and track key metrics, ensuring alignment with company goals.

  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to senior leadership.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure smooth sales cycles and customer satisfaction.

  • Represent Kojo Technologies at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

About You

Ambitious, driven, and goal-oriented Sales Managers thrive at Kojo! If you have the following skills and experience, we’d love to hear from you:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a sales management or leadership role.

  • Results-Oriented: You thrive in a performance-driven environment and have a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.

  • Natural Leader: You excel at motivating and inspiring others, providing guidance and coaching to help your team achieve their full potential.

  • Analytical: You have a data-driven approach to sales, using metrics to optimize team performance and achieve business goals.

  • Strategic Thinker: You can identify market opportunities, develop actionable sales strategies, and adapt to shifting market trends.

  • Relationship Builder: You build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues, and have exceptional communication skills.

  • Resilient and Adaptable: You thrive in fast-paced environments and can adjust quickly to changes in strategy or market conditions.

The compensation for this role is between $180,000 to $220,000 (USD/CAD dependent on region) on target earnings, commensurate with experience and quota attainment. See details about compensation ranges below.
