The salary range for this role is $90,200.00 to $112,800.00. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position. 

Position Summary:

Are you a leader who thrives on coaching, mentoring, and driving results? As Sales Manager for British Columbia Retail & Licensee (on -Premise) at Corby, you’ll lead a team of District Managers and oversee a part-time merchandising team across the province. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial Execution, Western Canada, you’ll set performance standards, establish key sales metrics, and provide frequent in-field coaching to develop a high-performing team. This is a pivotal role where your leadership directly impacts sales success and team growth.

To best support the territory, the successful candidate will ideally live in the Greater Vancouver Area or be willing to relocate and be open to regular travel within the province.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of District Managers, ensuring sales targets are met and retail standards are upheld
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and performance management for Alberta’s part-time merchandising team
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to deliver on commercial plans and KPIs
  • Manage regional promotional budgets, ensuring investments align with approved guidelines
  • Develop and implement District Manager scorecards and conduct monthly performance huddles and annual reviews
  • Promote Corby’s #OneTeamOneGoal culture and foster a positive, collaborative environment
  • Track competitive activity and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Work closely with Brand Ambassadors to enhance in-store brand experience

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience with team management, preferably in beverage alcohol or CPG sales
  • University degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented
  • Ability to travel as required with a valid driver’s license (company vehicle or car allowance bridge provided)
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a passion for coaching and developing others
