The Role

Workforce.com is hiring a founding SDR team for the recently opened Vancouver office. This role is for ambitious applicants looking to build a long-term career in software. Workforce.com will provide extensive training and professional development to equip you with strong sales skills to prospect new customers. 

As an SDR at Workforce.com, you will focus on one of our key target industries: hospitality, QSR, retail and healthcare. 

You will be based in our Vancouver office and report to our Country Manager, Ryan Johnston. At Workforce.com, you will gain career progression opportunities and be incentivised by a generous, uncapped commission structure.

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive sales development by engaging with prospective clients via phone and email.
  • Build meaningful relationships with larger target accounts with a longer-term sales horizon.
  • Research businesses, including key indicators, industry trends, demographics, and decision-makers, to influence target account strategy.
  • Progress prospective clients down the sales funnel towards a final meeting with an Account Executive to close deals.
  • Source new accounts for your pipeline.

About You

  • Experience in an outbound sales role (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in the hospitality, QSR, retail or professional service industries (preferred but not required).
  • Strong work ethic and initiative to create new opportunities.
  • Attention to detail and refined organisational skills.
  • Outcome-oriented and driven to excel.
  • Open to learning and incorporating new sales strategies.

We service thousands of clients across the globe. The company is headquartered in Brisbane, and has offices in Chicago and London. The Vancouver office was opened in September 2024 to expand our customer base in Canada.

The key parts of our platform include rostering, time & attendance, staffing optimisation, employee engagement, payroll, and labour compliance. Most of our activities centre around engineering, marketing, sales, research, and supporting functions. 

This is an on-site position located at our Vancouver office.

Benefits

The base salary for this role is CAD $60,000 + Uncapped Commission. Top performers are able to double their take home pay with commission.

You will receive 4 weeks of vacation leave each year.
