About the job

As an OpenTable Sales Development Representative, you will be an integral part of our sales team, responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. You will engage with potential restaurant clients, educate them about OpenTable's reservation and guest management solutions, and ultimately secure appointments for our Account Executives. Your ability to effectively communicate the value of our products and build relationships will contribute to the overall success of our company.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and engaging potential restaurant clients through strategic outbound prospecting activities.

  • Increase conversion rates by educating prospects on the value of OpenTable's products for restaurant operations and guest experiences.

  • Improve sales pipeline quality by qualifying leads based on needs and budget before transitioning them to Account Executives.

  • Foster long-term success by building and maintaining strong, credible relationships with restaurant owners and decision-makers.

  • Maximize sales strategy effectiveness by collaborating with Account Executives to share insights and align on target accounts.

  • Maintain data integrity and accurate opportunity tracking by utilizing CRM software (Salesforce) for all prospect interactions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in sales development, business development, or a similar role.

  • Proven track record of successfully generating leads and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence potential clients.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to lead generation and pipeline management.

  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales productivity tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the hospitality, technology, or SaaS industry.

  • Deep understanding of the restaurant industry and familiarity with OpenTable's platform.

  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities tailored to addressing specific customer challenges.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field

The expected range of compensation for this position based in Vancouver, Canada, including commission and/or bonuses, is $55,000-$65,000 CAD, plus a quarterly bonus. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a compensation range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required.

This role is eligible to be considered for an annual bonus.
