Your Role
Reporting to the Manager of Inside Sales, the Sales Administrator provides administrative support to the Inside Sales Team. This role helps ensure smooth daily operations by keeping information accurate, coordinating logistics, and supporting product demonstrations. You will work closely with colleagues across the organization, contributing to the efficiency of the sales function and the broader team.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as the first point of contact for administrative or system support
- Coordinate with IT and Sales Operations to ensure correct system access and distribution rights
- Monitor shared inboxes and voicemail for the ISR team, routing messages promptly
- Liaise across Sales, Logistics, Finance, Marketing, and IT to resolve issues
- Maintain clear documentation of inquiries and resolutions
- Coordinate with Logistics on customer orders and demo inventory
- Manage trial stock, including shipping, scheduling, tracking, and returns
- Monitor orders and shipments, providing proactive updates and resolving issues
- Prepare routine reports using Excel, Salesforce, and Google Suite
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records and troubleshoot basic issues
- Create and track JIRA tickets, following up to ensure resolution
- Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements
- Support new ISR onboarding and provide backup for the Manager
- Contribute to special projects as needed
Your Experience So Far:
- 2+ years of relevant administrative experience or equivalent education/training
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite Tools; familiarity with Salesforce and Jira considered an asset
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly share information between customers, colleagues, and departments
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to accuracy and detail
- Basic understanding of customer service, record keeping, and order processing practices
- Ability to manage multiple routine tasks and prioritize effectively
Location and Compensation:
This is a hybrid role, so we can only consider candidates based within a commutable distance of our Vancouver, BC office. The salary range for this position is between $56,400 and $62,000.
