The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing revenue within an assigned portfolio of existing Corptax clients. This role focuses on developing deep relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their business challenges, and identifying opportunities to expand the value they receive from Corptax's suite of corporate tax technology solutions.
The Account Manager partners with internal teams to deliver consultative guidance, product demonstrations, and solution recommendations that align with evolving client needs. By acting as a trusted advisor and advocate, the Account Manager plays a critical role in ensuring client success, retention, and ongoing revenue growth.
This is a consultative, client-facing role requiring strong relationship management, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive expansion opportunities in a competitive, enterprise software environment.
Some of the things you will be doing:
- Manage and grow revenue within a defined portfolio of existing Corptax clients by identifying and closing opportunities for cross-sell and upsell.
- Develop deep client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key stakeholders.
- Build and manage a consultative sales process - identifying evolving client needs, aligning Corptax solutions to those needs, and guiding clients through the decision-making process.
- Partner with Sales Engineers to deliver impactful product demonstrations and solution presentations tailored to individual client situations.
- Collaborate across internal teams, including marketing, product specialists, and services, to ensure seamless engagement and value delivery.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings, providing valuable insights to clients and helping them leverage Corptax solutions for competitive advantage.
- Champion client success by advocating for client needs internally and working closely with onboarding and support teams to ensure successful adoption and ongoing satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate account plans, opportunity tracking, and pipeline management within CRM tools.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- 5-7 years of enterprise software account management or consultative sales experience, preferably in tax, finance, compliance, or related B2B SaaS.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to manage and grow existing accounts, uncovering needs and expanding solution adoption.
- Experience working with finance, tax, or accounting teams within large and mid-sized enterprises is a strong plus.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills - able to assess client needs and position solutions with a consultative, value-driven approach.

*At CSC, compensation decisions are dependent on a number of factors including job location and the knowledge and experience of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $64,378.00 to $85,070.30
