About the Role

Are you passionate about creating safe, compliant, and efficient workplaces? Join 7-Eleven Distribution Canada Corp. as a Safety & Compliance Officer and play a key role in ensuring the health, safety, and compliance of our Delta Distribution Center.

You’ll work closely with our Regional Warehouse Manager and leadership team to maintain and improve programs related to Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and Transportation Safety. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact on workplace safety and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

As a Safety & Compliance Officer, you will:

  • Lead Safety Initiatives – Develop and implement proactive strategies to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Ensure Compliance – Oversee adherence to OHS, GDP, and transportation regulations.
  • Conduct Audits & Inspections – Perform monthly safety inspections, COR audits, and GDP checks.
  • Investigate & Report – Manage incident investigations, WCB claims, and compliance documentation.
  • Train & Support Teams – Deliver safety and food safety training, and support drivers with log compliance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Background in Safety, GDP, and/or Transportation compliance.
  • Education: OHS Certification is a strong asset.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication (verbal & written). Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Mindset: Solution-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $52,000.00 Annual
