About the Role

We will soon have an opportunity opening for a Rollout Program Manager in Vancouver, with national travel required from time to time. This role will be responsible and accountable for deploying our EV charging network across Canada West, working with a team to achieve installation targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and construction phase of the rollout of our national EV charging network
  • Manage the planning & permitting process including applications for variance and land use amendments across multiple jurisdictions in Western Canada
  • Work with consultants and our internal Engineering team to ascertain site requirements for build, including power and product customisation/design in line with landowner requirements
  • Coordinate construction subcontractors including administration and performance management.
  • Track project progress against objectives, approach, timelines, targets team, and budget.
  • Identify project risks upfront and take action to mitigate them.
  • Carry out negotiation and stakeholder management with regulatory bodies to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Oversee the compliance of health & safety procedures
  • Support the Product team in the design and development of new asset products which could include making innovative changes to key design features of our technology.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for the development of new sites, including site visits, assessing the financial and technical constraints of each potential new site.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree or PMP designation (project management, construction, or engineering).
  • 5+ years experience in construction project management and proven experience of delivering physical infrastructure projects on time and on budget. Previous experience with EV or Outdoor Digital infrastructure would be an advantage
  • Experience preparing complex applications across a range of permitting contexts on environment, zoning, signage, and land use justifications
  • Flexible and adaptable to work on a wide variety of projects. You will be someone who thrives in ambiguous environments, loves constantly learning and is ready to muck-in in order to grow our business!
  • Researcher and natural problem-solver (we are moving the needle in electric vehicle charging which means we need to find solutions to novel business challenges!)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - you will be interacting with multiple stakeholders and partners on a daily basis.
  • Strong contract/contractor/stakeholder management experience
  • Good problem-solver and an excellent eye for detail to allow you to dive deeper when required.
  • A passion for green energy and the electrification of transport.
