**this is a hybrid (4 days in office) position based out of our Vancouver, BC office**

About the role

The Research Analyst provides a range of research and analytical support to the Vancouver Brokerage team.  The incumbent provide assistance on the collection and analysis of the local commercial real estate market data to deliver market insights and further enhance our research capabilities.
 

In the role, you will...
  • Prepare periodic research publications on the commercial real estate market in Vancouver, market commentary, and various materials including presentations, market reports, white papers, as needed.

  • Monitor industry statistics and follow trends by reading reports and staying updated on current events to lead efforts in generating research content and thought leadership pieces.

  • Assist in the compilation and verification of quarterly statistics.

  • Summarize and communicate analytic findings, insights and recommendations via executive-level summary documents, meetings and presentations.

  • Utilize database knowledge and data manipulation / query tools to manage existing Colliers platforms.

  • Assist with the review of quality control standards for the Research team and support the research and data collection function.

  • Actively look for ways to improve efficiency, capability and/or quality of research processes and deliverables.

  • Actively participate in meetings of the research and sales teams.

  • Actively engage and build relationships within the industry.

  • Other duties as required.

What you'll bring
  • Undergraduate degree required. Real Estate or Business post-secondary is an asset.

  • 2+ years’ experience in research role. Experience in commercial real estate preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft 365 suites including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. 

  • Experience in BI, data visualization and GIS tools would be an asset.

  • Excellent writing and analytical skills with the ability to confidently present data and market insights to clients.

  • Strong networking and relationship-building ability, proactive, results-oriented, and resourceful.

  • Attention to detail and an ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

Pursuant to local law, Colliers is disclosing the following information:
Area / Location Specific: Vancouver, BC
Approximate Compensation for this Role: $69,369 - $76,000 per annum
Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire compensation. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
