What its like to be a Reinsurance Analyst at Northbridge Financial

Our reinsurance strategy and administration capabilities are important contributors in our capital management and Corporate Governance processes. The Reinsurance Analyst, as part of the Corporate Underwriting group and working with the reinsurance buyer, is responsible for technical and administrative support of Northbridge’s reinsurance governance structure.

If you’re great at:

  • Strong command of data management tools and platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze contract language and identify issues
  • Strong financial acumen and good business judgment.
  • Exceptional understanding and accuracy in reviewing contract documents
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities and deliver results according to deadlines.

You have:

  • Post-secondary education working towards a technical finance or business designation.
  • Minimum 5 years or experience in the financial services industry. P&C insurance industry experience is an asset.
  • Completion of Insurance Institute courses an asset

Salary range for Vancouver, BC is $60,000 - $80,000.
