About the Role!

We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment with experience in sourcing, screening, and hiring top technical talent in the tech industry. This role involves managing the full recruitment cycle.

This is a remote position.

You will:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing Software Development candidates.
  • Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top technical talent.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand Software Development hiring needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates' experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Stay up-to-date on recruitment trends and best practices to attract top talent.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Software Development Recruiter or similar role.
  • Adherence to ethical recruitment practices, ensuring compliance with Canadian employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Familiarity with Software Development terms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to recruitment.
  • Must be a resident of Canada and be eligible to work in Canada.

Nice to Haves

  • Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., CHRP, AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Recruiter).
  • Experience with employer branding and social media recruitment.
