Job Description

  • Provide accurate and timely invoicing of customer shipments daily 

  • Assist in servicing customers including answering phones 

  • Sorting & Filing of packing slips, pickers, purchasing orders, reconciled reports   

  • Reconcile daily cash transactions payments, prepare the bank deposit, prepare and submit deposit paperwork for National Support Centre  

  • Obtain, review, verify and enter purchase and expense vendor invoices, debit memos and debit cancellations in the system for processing in an accurate and timely manner 

  • Investigate, resolve and respond to all customer, vendor, credit and NSC inquiries in a timely fashion that exceeds the customers’ expectations and benefits of the Profit Centre 

  • Enter customer credit notes and vendor debits in the system 

  • Understand and follow all safety regulations at all customer locations as well as at the Profit Centre 

  • Uphold Emco Core Values at all times 

  • Support all Profit Centre activities as part of the Profit Centre team 

  • Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by immediate supervisor or Profit Centre Manager 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of accounts receivable/payable bookkeeping practices and terms 

  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills 

  • Driven to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail 

  • Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors and teammates 

  • Able to prioritize work projects and multitask 

  • Able to learn and operate the applicable software system (Infor M3) used to process orders 

  • Willing to invest a minimum of 40 hours in training annually 

  • Valid driver's license or comfortable with commute.

  • Work hours may vary between 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM and 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM based on team availability and vacation coverage. Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
