THE OPPORTUNITY
Thomson Power Systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the Power Generation Industry for over 50 years. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Quoting Specialist to join our Switchgear team in Langley, BC.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing technical quotes for prospective clients, ensuring accurate cost estimations, managing and prioritizing customer accounts, order processing, and providing support to customer’s questions or inquiries.
YOUR MISSION
Main responsibilities:
- Review drawings, specifications and project documents to understand scopes and requirements.
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and quotes for projects, ensuring compliance with company policies, customer specifications, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales, operations, and engineering to provide the best solutions for customers and address their needs promptly.
- Maintain a database of quotations within Salesforce for analytical purposes.
- Manage multiple customer accounts and quotation requests simultaneously.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Education, experience and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, bills of materials, and specifications with minimum assistance.
- 2-3 years of technical experience in electrical and automation industries.
- Experience in quoting electrical panels or distribution systems will be considered as an asset

Location: This position is based at Thomson Power System’s Langley facility, Hybrid schedule.
