Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to support our Digital Services business. Join a dynamic, growing team dedicated to ensuring quality and regulatory compliance across a diverse portfolio of Tech Ops and aircraft integration solutions. As part of a global quality organization, you will provide end-to-end quality management guidance to leaders, business units, and cross-functional teams. Your primary responsibilities will draw on deep knowledge of quality systems and aviation regulatory requirements to design, implement, and sustain robust compliance and improvement activities across the enterprise.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the organization’s senior subject-matter expert on quality and regulatory matters, acting as the primary liaison with the FAA and other aviation authorities on major policy, compliance, and certification issues.

  • Lead the development and refinement of new work practices, techniques, and quality standards; recognized as a go-to expert within the Quality organization.

  • Design and implement innovative solutions for complex quality problems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and deliver tailored training, coaching, and guidance on audits, root cause analysis, CAPA, continuous improvement, and core quality management principles.

  • Partner with stakeholders to define, implement, and maintain meaningful quality metrics and dashboards that enable data-driven decisions and measure process health.

  • Plan and execute product, system, and process audits to verify compliance with industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001, RTCA DO-200), regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

  • Advise and collaborate with senior leadership to design and deploy process improvements that affect multiple teams and locations, driving measurable operational gains.

  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, setting objectives and selecting approaches while ensuring consistent, compliant outcomes across assignments.

  • Continuously expand your expertise in quality management best practices and emerging regulatory guidance to strengthen organizational capability.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)

  • 5+ years of experience implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).

  • 5+ years of experience applying process improvement and problem-solving methodologies (root cause analysis, CAPA).

  • 5+ years of experience interacting with aviation regulatory authorities (FAA, EASA, and/or CASA).

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to communicate technical and regulatory concepts to leadership and technical teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform audits and generate actionable findings and remediation plans.

  • Must be legally able to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)

  • Experience supporting or obtaining FAA Letters of Acceptance (LoA).

  • AS9100 or ISO 9001 lead auditor certification.

  • Familiarity with RTCA DO-200 and FAA AC 20-153, AC 20-115, AC 120-76

  • Professional certifications such as ASQ CQA or equivalent.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.

  • Experience working in SAFe/Agile environments and supporting Agile teams’ quality practices.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada.  Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.

Starting salary will be based on year of post-secondary education completed, qualifications and experience.

British Columbia Salary pay range:

Level 4 - $70,000 - $150,000/Annually

Level 5 - $105,000 - $188,000/Annually
