As a QA Analyst, you play a critical role in ensuring the quality of products and projects aligns with requirements before deployment to production. You will be involved in all phases of projects, from requirements review to testing in production.
HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
- Review specifications, user stories, and architectural/design solutions to determine necessary testing.
- Develop, establish, and execute quality assurance measures and testing standards for new and existing applications and products.
- Gather, document, and execute test scenarios and test cases of simple-to-medium complexity.
- Collaborate with business partners, developers, architects, and business analysts to test and provide feedback on proposed business functionality.
- Conduct test case review sessions with stakeholders to confirm test coverage.
- Provide input on test strategies and plans to Senior QA Analysts or QA Leads.
- Adopt test automation practices to achieve continuous testing (CT) and maintain regression models and QA traceability.
- Ensure that testing activities meet business requirements, system goals, and end-user expectations while identifying potential issues.
- Communicate test progress, results, and relevant insights to project stakeholders.
- Review test results, report exceptions, and prepare required documentation for signoff and production implementation.
- Maintain existing quality assurance scripts and documentation.
- Perform UX testing and non-functional testing, including cross-browser and mobile testing.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or a college diploma in a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Analyst or in a related field such as Software or Application Development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to create and execute test plans and scripts.
- Experience with automation, including developing frameworks and using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and JMeter.
- Experience with test case management tools and automated testing tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Windows 10 operating systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with MS SQL.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate across functional teams.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to test software from both technical and non-technical perspectives.
