LMI Technologies is currently looking for a Purchaser to join our Purchasing team within the Operations department. This role is responsible for issuing purchase orders as required and monitoring purchased product delivery. The Purchaser reports to the Purchasing Team Lead while working closely with other Purchasers and other teams. 

What will you do as an Purchaser?

  • Conduct all purchasing activities in accordance with Quality Management System requirements.
  • Negotiates delivery requirements and quantities with suppliers.
  • Records and issues all Purchase Order (PO) as required. Ensures deliveries of goods are in accordance with PO quality and on-time delivery requirements.
  • Expedites deliveries of purchased products as needed.
  • Communicates with vendors regarding Non-Conforming Materials following MRB meetings and ensures timely response to Vendor Return Authorization reports.
  • Maintains stock level based on Netsuite Re-order Report & Demand Caster planner action report
  • Ensures that technical documentation, product configuration and specification provided to suppliers are complete, accurate and up-to-date.
  • Manages the status of and updates purchasing and vendor related information in Netsuite database.
  • Proactively contributes to and implements continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adheres to LMI Employee Policy Manual.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Relevant post secondary Technical or Business diploma or related experience
  • Minimum 1 year of purchasing experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Experience with Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Solid interpersonal skills to communicate appropriately in a team environment.
  • Solid computer skills (Google sheets, docs, mail) experience preferred but will consider relevant Microsoft Office experience.

Salary Range: $47,200- $67,200
