  • Proactively address supply risks such as shortages, extended lead times, allocation constraints, price changes, and component obsolescence.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, delivery, pricing, and non-conformance issues in partnership with suppliers and internal teams.

This role might be right for you if you have:

  • 3–5 years of progressive purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience interpreting BOMs, drawings, and technical specifications to support engineering and manufacturing needs.
  • A solid understanding of electronic components and supply risks, including lead times, allocation, obsolescence, and product lifecycle.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate supplier options and make informed recommendations.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

  • Show ownership and accountability in your work, and proactively address issues before they impact Manufacturing.
  • Can balance multiple priorities and adapt quickly as requirements change.
  • Enjoy digging into problems, analyzing information, and finding practical solutions.
  • Build collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal teams while navigating challenging conversations when needed.
  • Look for opportunities to improve processes and are comfortable working in an evolving environment.
