Responsibilities
- Support collaboration with external PR agencies, including collecting reports, reviewing pitches, and tracking deliverables
- Monitor and respond to media inquiries, coordinating product orders as needed
- Lead Canadian media outreach and pitching efforts, maintain up-to-date media contact lists, and help keep Eminence top of mind with key Canadian press contacts
- Coordinate U.S. award submissions and lead award submissions for Canada and international markets
- Coordinate external events with stakeholders, including supporting related marketing efforts
- Represent the brand at events when required
- Maintain databases for celebrities, makeup artists, and influencers
- Process VIP product orders and track key relationships
- Coordinate projects across PR initiatives
- Draft and submit editorial content and support with corporate copywriting
- Coordinate award submissions and support award licensing requirements
- Track award opportunities and maintain submission timelines and documentation
- Support the Digital team with advertising opportunities in trade and consumer publications
- College diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in PR or communications
- Skin care or beauty industry experience is an asset
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proactive and solutions-oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with design and project management software is an asset
