We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual who can craft client-focused narratives to support DIALOG’s distinctiveness in the competitive world of proposals. In this role, reporting to the Studio Marketing Leader, you'll be part of a cohesive marketing team that collaborates with DIALOG Partners and Associates.


Our ideal candidate possesses a keen sense of strategy, an eye for design, strong writing and editing skills, and a passion for creating intriguing and persuasive proposals. They also have a passion for the built world and have experience working in the AEC industry.

How you’ll make a difference:

  • Champion development and delivery of RFPs/RFQs and other promotional materials for the DIALOG. 
  • Oversee and facilitate proposals from research and kick-off to interview, debrief and close-out.
  • Work with multi-stakeholder teams, including internal partners and external sub-consultants, to lead pursuit strategy and develop successful proposals, while maintaining a high standard and driving accountability.
  • Perform detailed analysis of RFP/RFQ documents and develop compelling narratives that demonstrate the value proposition.
  • Write engaging non-technical portions of the proposal and ensure writing communicates the DIALOG Why. Engage with project team members to ensure content is cohesive and highlights our unique value propositions.
  • Facilitate meetings throughout the pursuit cycle and monitor the progress of all pursuit activities to ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Review and edit content to ensure responsiveness, accuracy, and emphasis on compelling visual layout and written narrative.
  • Contribute to and maintain CRM and perform closeout activities.

  • A creative and innovative thinker with a keen eye for design and layout.
  • Energized by the pursuit process, and possess both a competitive and resilient spirit
  • Passionate about architecture, city building and/or design.

Qualifications and experience:

  • University degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience delivering in a professional services organization. AEC industry experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability in partnership building
  • Skill in visual and written communications, known for creating compelling and complex proposals
  • Advanced communications skills with a demonstrated ability in partnership-building.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.
