What You Will Do

As a Project Manager with Bryant Park Consulting, you will report to an Engagement Manager who is accountable for the client engagements you lead. You will partner with the PMO function for project management practice development, tools, and methodology. You will work on up to 5 projects with teams of 2 to 10 consultants to successfully deliver end-to-end implementations of NetSuite for our clients.

Client stakeholders and your team at BPC will look to you for project management expertise to ensure the success of the engagement and to complete the following responsibilities:

Client Engagement and Delivery

  • Serve as the Client's advocate throughout the engagement
  • Manage the full-cycle NetSuite implementation across all phases: Plan, Design, Build, Verify, Deploy, Transition
  • Manage project scope, timeline, work breakdown, resource allocation, and budget
  • Lead client project status meetings and partner with the Engagement Manager on monthly steering committee meetings

  • Provide guidance and support to client change management efforts
  • Assure quality management of communications and deliverables

Operational Discipline

  • Maintain daily time entry in 15-minute increments with quality notes that distinguish online (client-facing) and offline work; review and approve consultant time on assigned engagements before billing close
  • Own weekly utilization planning and forward forecasting for self and assigned consultants; escalate utilization or capacity risks at least two weeks in advance
  • Maintain the project task list as the single source of truth; update the project plan at minimum weekly, with updates completed prior to status meetings
  • Maintain the RAID log in Smartsheet; log new items within 24 hours of identification; review during every status and steering committee meeting
  • Surface project risks proactively before they become issues; escalate in writing with documented impact to scope, timeline, and budget
  • Acknowledge internal coaching, EM direction, and client communications within 24 business hours, even when full resolution requires more time
  • Communicate budget consumption weekly by stage, activity code, and resource

Firm Contribution

  • Adopt and apply BPC's AI-augmented delivery toolset across project management activities, including planning, governance, RAID management, status reporting, and knowledge capture; contribute observations, exceptions, and improvements back to the firm
  • Actively delegate work to junior resources to support their development, improve project economics, and free senior resources for higher-value contribution
  • Participate in Velocity missions and firm improvement initiatives
  • Submit reusable artifacts (templates, playbooks, lessons learned, methodology contributions) to firm knowledge management at engagement close
  • Develop new skills, industries, PM tools, and NetSuite product areas as required by customer engagements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Systems
  • 3+ years managing ERP implementations
  • Demonstrated operational reliability, including timely time entry, accurate forecasting, and follow-through on coaching, as a foundational competency
  • Strong interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and change management skills
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
  • Ability to successfully manage client and team interactions, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong background in managing projects within consulting services or other professional services setting
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a virtual environment and comfortable leading on-site client workshops
  • Experience managing projects with teams of 5+ working across multiple workstreams
  • Comfort working within an AI-augmented delivery model and contributing to its evolution

Desirable

  • Project Management Certifications (PMP, CSM)
  • NetSuite Product Experience and Certifications
  • MBA, Masters, or other advanced degrees
  • Experience contributing to firm-wide methodology, knowledge management, or operating model initiatives
