We are currently seeking an exceptional Project Leader to join our passionate Unifiller Team. The ideal candidate will have a charismatic and dynamic personality, along with relevant experience in equipment design and project management within the food industry.Work You’ll Do:
- Lead customer projects from concept through design to successful completion.
- Design new equipment for the food industry using SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed designs of machines and sub-assemblies.
- Ensure project timelines and costs are met efficiently.
- Utilize our ERP system to create bills of materials and routings for projects.
- Write detailed order confirmations and verifications to bridge the gap between sales and engineering for final customer project acceptance.
- Test and commission new equipment to meet specifications outlined in order verifications or confirmations.
- Perform drawing revisions and updates in accordance with company processes.
- Develop and write documentation for newly developed equipment, including instruction manuals, risk assessments, and operational manuals.
- Contribute to peer-to-peer drawing reviews and process improvements.
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other process enhancement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Food Engineering or relevant field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in project management, equipment design, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in the food equipment industry or food processing machinery.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
