Evertz.io is redefining how media organizations manage and distribute content in the cloud. The platform delivers scalable, flexible, and cost-efficient solutions for both file-based and live workflows across the Media and Entertainment industry. We’re building the next generation of content management and distribution systems, combining deep video expertise with modern cloud-native infrastructure. Our work spans everything from low-level video processing to orchestration, monitoring, and user experience.
As a Product Specialist, you will bridge the gap between product design, engineering, and operations — helping shape the evertz.io platform while working hands-on with configuration, deployment, and cloud infrastructure.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and wants to be deeply involved in cloud and broadcast technology.
Responsibilities:

  • Configure, deploy, and validate evertz.io environments and AWS infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and SRE teams to define and refine platform capabilities.
  • Assist in proof-of-concepts, internal demonstrations, and technical evaluations.
  • Translate operational workflows into clear technical requirements and configurations.
  • Develop and maintain configuration templates, scripts, and documentation.
  • Have collaborative meetings with Engineering to align priorities, architecture, and ongoing initiatives.
  • Provide feedback on usability, deployment flows, and performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of platform scalability and automation.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of AWS services including EC2, VPCs, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with broadcast technology - including video, audio, OTT platforms, and live production workflows is an asset
  • Experience deploying and maintaining modern cloud applications or services.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, APIs, and microservice architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or JavaScript).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, Agile development environment.
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
