We are now looking for a Product Owner for Network Management Engineering Unit to secure Ericsson technology leadership and make sure we have the right scope, quality, time, and cost balance for product development. As a Product Development Leader, you will teach, coach, challenge and develop individuals, leaders, teams, and organizations. You will foster a creative and learning culture.
As an entirely unified network manager with universal applications for all network technologies, Ericsson's Network Manager provides end-to-end flexibility, enabling a seamless and efficient operation between networks and network layers as well as a set of unified applications and tools to securely manage radio access, transport, and core networks. The Ericsson Network Manager's uniform operational environment includes a collection of consolidated management functions based on a cloud-ready software platform and delivers close to zero downtime during software upgrades, ensuring the full visibility and control of networks.
You will lead a section delivers high quality software in ENM Product Development Group and work with continuous improvements. You will be expected to execute change initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, quality, flow efficiency and continuous learning to improve our overall performance. Important factors to be successful in the role are empathy and humanness, courageous and fact-based decisions, cooperation and collaboration, executing speedily and ability to create a speak-up environment.
What you will do:
  • Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes
  • Working together with the project on higher level plans
  • Product owners prioritize the Team Product Backlog according to market value
  • Product owners stand up for product quality and integrity by setting the Definition of Done and Acceptance Criteria for Cross Functional Team deliverables
  • Product owners focus heavily on delivering value for the customer on time with quality
  • Product owners are responsible for features that the teams are working on, owning the features and providing transparency towards business and customer representatives
  • Product owners participate in the release/integration activities (accepting the User Story based on the Acc. Criteria and the DoD which is integrated to the delivery branch and tested green...), constantly sharing/radiating the evolving estimations of the feature development
  • Product Owners work together as a group to generate a consistent set of priorities (Product Backlog) and handle interdependencies between feature deliveries
  • Active participation in global PO community to improve product level processes

The Product Owner works with a Cross Functional Team to:
  • Break down epics to E2E user stories
  • Run affinity estimation (big wall) exercise and to create epic burnup chart
  • Drive product backlog refinements (groomings) and user story estimations
  • Participate in sprint planning to prioritize user stories and set sprint goals;
  • Verify in sprint reviews whether the DoD and Acceptance Criteria are met;
  • Participate in sprint retrospectives;
  • Answer questions and clarify requirements.

You would need some technical knowledge to:
  • Experience working with Scrum
  • Identify customer value and customer risk
  • Understand product quality and measurements
  • Clarify and break down customer requirements to User Stories
  • Understand cross functional teams's rationale for design choices
  • Ability to prioritize clashing requirements
