We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Product Marketing Manager who will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering the product message to end customers and channel partners, ensuring that Geotab’s story is clear and its products are widely adopted. As a product focused company, Product Marketing is a core part of the Product team, working alongside Product Managers, Engineering, Design, and Data to drive market outcomes and growth for a product area throughout the full lifecycle. What you'll do:

The Product Marketing Manager is the storyteller and market facing expert in their product domain, a contributor to strategy and roadmap, and the owner of growth that leads to the market launch of their products through the orchestration of the marketing team. In short, Product Marketing is the trusted, growth-driving API between Product teams and Marketing.

How you'll make an impact:
  • Tell the product story in a simple, clear, and compelling way to differentiate & share Geotab’s products with the world.

  • Build the marketing roadmap for growth of your product area. Define how we’ll achieve the next level of growth.

  • Bring your product stories to life with our marketing teams.

  • Develop razor-sharp customer insights and empathy. Build expertise and maintain a central repository of industry and growth trends, personas, competition, and distribution channels/partners.

  • Tag team with Product Manager in terms of being the “voice” of the product. Catering the message and documents to the individual and sales teams needs.

  • Help shape the Product Marketing craft at Geotab and the role Product Marketing plays as the team grows & develops.

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of product marketing strategies.

  • Support the development of a variety of marketing materials including white papers, case studies, blog posts, PPT decks, sales tools, ROI calculators, and webinars to support product launches and ongoing marketing campaigns.

  • Attend product-related events such as webinars, trade shows, and customer forums to drive engagement and adoption.

  • Establish and maintain a feedback loop with customers to gather insights and inform product development and product marketing strategies.

  • Product growth, co-owner with the product team. In addition to this, monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns associated with your product portfolio and product launches, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.

  • Manage the budget for product marketing activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement on the creation and delivery of training programs and sales tools to equip the sales team with the knowledge and resources they need to effectively sell the product.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably in a B2B technology environment.

  • Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree specialization in Engineering, Business/Marketing, Computer Science or a related field highly valued.

  • Certifications in digital marketing, product management, or related fields (e.g., Pragmatic Marketing, Google Analytics) are a plus.

  • Strategic mindset, with a keen sense of priorities, along with an ability to pivot as the landscape changes.

  • Ambitious, self-starter, and resourceful, with strong analytical skills and the ability to problem-solve and make well-judged decisions.

  • Strong team player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.

  • Storyteller with excellent written and verbal communication skills, empathetic and customer-focused, able to connect insights to identify patterns, and skilled at delivering presentations and training both in person and virtually.

  • Experience in reporting or business analysis, with familiarity with product management tools.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on deadlines and deliverables.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.

  • Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate those needs into compelling product marketing strategies.

  • Innovative thinker with a knack for developing unique marketing campaigns and strategies.

  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.

  • Experience in the telematics industry is a plus.

The annual base salary for this position is the expected annual salary for this role, and may be subject to change. Geotab offers various perks and benefits and other compensation components that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary for this position depends on a variety of factors such as but not limited to skills, qualifications, education and overall experience, including the location the applicant lives while performing the job. This also includes equity with other team members and alignment with local market data. All offers of employment are contingent upon proof of eligibility to work and the individual's ability to pass a background check.
