Job Description

We're looking for a passionate and creative Product Marketing Manager to join our team!

You’ll be working alongside the Product Marketing team to deliver and execute on powerful go-to-market campaigns that position our product (and product releases) for maximum impact in the market.

Plus, you’ll help drive retention of our customers through product and feature adoption, sending usage stats through the roof, and get them sticky in the product.

To make that happen, you’ll get to know our market, customer segments, and product inside and out, then turn that knowledge into innovative angles, creative launches and campaigns, and powerful storytelling.

This role reports to the Director, Product Marketing.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Product Go-to-Market:

  • Lead and manage our platform’s core feature releases for trainers and clients from concept, strategy, to execution, and reporting.
  • Execute on the GTM strategy and launch new product & feature releases; including but not limited to: writing launch blogs, brainstorming social concepts, writing and building out emails and Intercom in-app messages, creating product tours, writing and updating our product update notes, and more.

Retention and Product Adoption

  • Lead the adoption campaign strategy for Core features, execute on the plan, and report on metrics.
  • Assist in building out our onboarding experience via in-app journeys and checklists, and email journeys to help customers adopt key features early on.

Campaign execution:

  • Be ready to execute a product campaign from start to finish by putting on copywriter, designer, social media marketing, and email marketing hats.
  • Campaigns may require an omni-channel approach to engage with trainers and clients where they interact with us; including but not limited to: social, in-app web and mobile, mobile push, emails, webinars, events, and more.
  • Ability to create emails and workflows in Hubspot and Intercom and manage the complexity of sending multiple emails to multiple segments.
  • Ability to design and create product graphics, mobile and web screens that help visualize your message. While we have an in-house designer who can help with more creative or larger projects, we move really fast so being able to mix and match, edit, and create graphics for smaller campaigns is a must.

Product round-ups, events and webinars:

  • Own and lead the execution of our monthly feature round-ups email from start to finish.
  • Create and manage a new product feature recap webinar on what trainers may have missed.
  • Assist in the execution of a new product preview event to help build more awareness and increase adoption of upcoming features.

Insights and research:

  • Strive to continuously deliver industry, market, competitive and product insights to support product roadmap/positioning, campaign development, and other relevant areas and company growth.
  • Survey and conduct interviews with customers as needed to better understand customer needs and pain points.

Case studies and product use cases:

  • Produce inspiring case studies and testimonials to highlight customers' success and look for opportunities to leverage them as part of the buyer and education journeys where appropriate.
  • Become deeply familiar with both the most common and potentially overlooked use cases for our product, the way our customers currently use it, and how they might wish to use it.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • You have 2-5 years of prior B2B product marketing/management experience in the technology/software space (or equivalent skills and knowledge).
  • You have experience implementing product go-to-market plans with examples of your work you'd proudly share with us to back it up.
  • Ability to craft clear and compelling value propositions and messaging.
  • Ability to create and manage email campaigns and workflows.
  • You're proficient with (or willing to quickly learn) Hubspot, Intercom, Asana, Figma, and MixPanel.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in Canada and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for Canada based candidates for this position is $80,000.00-- $92,000.00 CAD annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
