We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to focus on our EverCommerce Payments group. In this role, you’ll oversee the strategic approach and tactical execution for bringing our products and services to market for our customers across multiple SaaS-based solutions.

EverCommerce Payments and our industry-leading payment gateway, PaySimple, provide payment solutions for over 20,000 SMBs. Our APIs and SaaS products offer payment acceptance, billing automation, client management, e-commerce, mobile, and point-of-sale solutions tailored to the needs of service-based businesses.

Our ideal candidate is an exceptional marketer with the skills and passion for mastering the art of connecting people with great products and services. You are obsessive about building detailed Go-to-Market strategies and rallying all areas of the business around the tactical execution of your GTM. You thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing work environments, are highly confident in your ability to communicate and collaborate effectively and understand how your efforts tie directly to your organization’s revenue and growth targets. You’re experienced in creating and leveraging competitive analysis/positioning for your products, performing pricing evaluations, and understanding your ideal customers and how to speak to them directly through your strategic marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and refine product and competitive positioning to ensure that it is connecting with our intended target audience.

  • Evaluate the pricing structures of each subsidiary product offering and drive the strategic communication around pricing changes.

  • Collaborate with product teams to identify and define target markets for new features and functionality and to drive increased product utilization and customer stickiness.

  • Collaborate with multiple marketing and customer experience teams to map out the buyer’s journey to optimize messaging for each stage of the decision-making process, helping to drive closed-won opportunities and reduce churn.

  • Obtain insights into customers’ usage of current products, untapped opportunities, and buyer personas through interviews, surveys, focus groups, and sales data.

  • Support content marketing and SEO teams to identify and develop content that helps increase the top-of-funnel with our ideal target customers.

  • Directly impact revenue by developing powerful sales enablement training and materials.

  • Guide marketing teams to plan and execute high-impact Go-to-Market campaigns.

  • Manage and optimize onboarding workflows and self-serve and sales-led payments buying models to convert SaaS customers into Payments customers.

  • Develop and execute an internal communications strategy that includes product positioning, competitive positioning, new product releases, industry updates, competitive analysis updates and developments, and shifting market landscape dynamics.

  • Own and report on key metrics such as payment conversions by channel, payment feature utilization, product performance, new feature adoption, and product launch campaign results.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role: 

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience with a proven track record of delivery or related experience in high-growth SaaS or Fintech environments.  

  • Bias for action and a strong test & iterate approach focused on driving impact and revenue growth.

  • Able to generate quantitative insights by leveraging analytics tools and making strategic decisions based on data.

  • Exceptional customer centricity and appetite to engage with prospects and customers.

  • Excellent understanding of payment funnel acquisition.

  • Proven ability to design and execute high-impact go-to-market campaigns.

  • Strong writing, communication, presentation development, and delivery skills.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Heap, and other analytics tools.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, careful attention to detail, and ability to drive consensus.

  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

Additional desirable skills:

  • Experience marketing products in the home improvement/home services industry.

  • Previous professional experience or advanced knowledge of the online payment industry.

  • Hands-on experience with Stripe products.

Where: 
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office, or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or other office locations around North America. 
 

We are remote-friendly, but the ideal candidate is based in the Mountain time zone and can travel to the Denver offices for occasional team events.

Compensation:

The target base compensation for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
