The Role: How You’ll Make an Impact
Our Product Management team is growing, and we’re looking for a Product Manager, Growth to join us in helping people get their best sleep yet. Reporting to the VP of Product Experience, Adult, and working closely with the VP of Product Experience, Kid, you’ll lead growth optimizations that drive in-app Hatch+ acquisition and engagement, helping us scale our premium membership experience.
This is a high-impact role within a growing, people-centered startup that’s redefining sleep wellness. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with designers, engineers, product marketers, our content team, and fellow PMs to fuel growth and increase revenue.
This role is remote-friendly but must be based in the U.S. or Canada. Hatch is based in California, so we ask that you’re available during PST/PDT hours.
What You’ll Do
📆 Within 3 months:
- Develop a deep understanding of Hatch’s strategy, products, and current subscription offerings.
- Gain fluency in the user journey, funnel analytics, and key subscription metrics.
- Build strong relationships across engineering, product, design, marketing, web, and customer support teams.
- Partner with PMs, user research, and design to deeply understand our customers through ongoing user feedback sessions.
🚀 Within 6 months:
- Own the performance of Hatch+, proactively tracking key metrics and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Partner with web & marketing teams to refine the end-to-end journey for acquiring and converting users.
- Define success metrics, run experiments (A/B testing, pricing tests, messaging improvements), and analyze results to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with other PMs to identify new value propositions for Hatch+ members.
✨ After 1 year:
- Partner with the VP of Product to drive the roadmap for in-app membership growth.
- Develop a strong perspective on Hatch’s growth engine and how to think strategically about where product investments should be placed.
- Propose meaningful new opportunities for future growth strategies.
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of consumer growth product management experience with subscription-based mobile products.
- Comfort in navigating ambiguity and thriving in a dynamic startup environment.
- Proven track record of shipping features that drive business metrics.
- Strong experimentation skills, including generating hypotheses, A/B testing, and analyzing results
- Strong customer empathy.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
Projects You Will Work On:
- Optimizing paywalls in app
- Optimizing how and when we talk about Hatch+ during app NUX
- Post-reg points of upsell & upsell flows
- How we demarcate Hatch+ features within the app
- Working with lifecycle & web team on how and when we talk about Hatch+ during email journey
- Work with web team to make sure the flow coming in with a web subscription works well
- App experience for those who haven’t received device yet OR haven’t purchased yet
