Build something people love
Wealthsimple is on a mission to help everyone achieve financial freedom by reimagining what it means to manage your money. Using smart technology, we take financial services that are often confusing and expensive and make them transparent and low-cost for everyone. We’re the largest fintech company in Canada, with 3+ million users who trust us with more than $100 billion in assets. And we’re just getting started.

We’re looking for someone who thinks big, sweats the small stuff and keeps things simple. You’ll join a high-bar, fast-paced team where people are trusted to own their work, communicate openly, and ship things that improve our clients’ lives. Collaboration, humility, and an obsession over quality are how we get stuff done.

About the Growth Platform Team
This team builds and architects the platforms that power Wealthsimple’s growth programs. We partner closely with Marketing to ensure our infrastructure and design systems can scale to reach millions of clients. With a focus on new client acquisition and winning the primary financial relationship of Canadians, this team ships at speed to bring some of our most ambitious and high-impact growth programs to life. The growth platform powers Wealthsimple’s % match campaigns, Apple campaigns, referral bonuses, and much more.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Support and launch Wealthsimple’s world-class growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Marketing, Data, and Support to evolve our supporting infrastructure to scale to millions of clients.
  • Foster an environment where the team can balance speed with a high quality bar.
  • Determine and own the success metrics to measure growth, engagement, reliability, and client experiences.
  • Leverage data and insights to continuously improve growth campaigns.
  • Partner to identify opportunities to improve acquisition, referrals, and retention.
  • Help elevate the Growth Product practice at Wealthsimple.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience.
  • A track record of working cross-functionally to ship experiences that move business metrics and drive growth.
  • Excellent communication skills. Able to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Strong systems thinking and enough technical fluency to partner with engineers, understand how things work behind the scenes, and make informed tradeoffs.
  • A strong bias to ship. You believe in learning through iteration and delivering impact incrementally.
  • A passion for financial empowerment and building products that increase access to financial freedom for everyone.
  • A genuine interest in marketing, brand, and client psychology. You care about crafting experiences that feel exciting, delightful, and distinct from the Canadian financial landscape.

Compensation & Equity
🤑 Base salary range: For this role, candidates located in Canada can expect a base salary range of CAD $123,200 - $154,000. Actual compensation is determined based on skills, experience, and role level. Exceptional candidates may be considered above the top of the range, and pay can increase quickly for those who make a big impact in the role.
🚀 Total compensation: In addition to base salary, this role includes equity compensation. We use clear job levels and market-based salary bands to ensure compensation is fair and consistent across the company.
