About the role:

The Product Manager is part of the Global Financial Technology Services (GFTS) team and will lead a team responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of a portfolio of financial application systems for the Global Finance and North American Accounting groups. Reporting to the Senior Manager - GFTS, this will be a hands-on role working with various finance stakeholders to understand organization pain points, create strategic technology roadmaps, participate in tool selection, and drive continuous improvement via application configuration and integration with other systems within, and external to, the department. This role is important for transforming data into insights that inspire decision-making and support business objectives related to timely and accurate financial planning, internal and external financial reporting, and SOX compliance.

  • Lead and support a team of engineers and analysts responsible for the ongoing development, maintenance, and administration of our financial systems ecosystem and capabilities.

  • Continuously improve intake and prioritize of features and functionality that support our business. Contribute to the overall governance process for Global Finance Technology Services.

  • Hands-on technical support for new implementations, changes, and updates to enterprise applications, including purchasing of new systems as needed.

  • Partner with the Finance department and other stakeholders to understand their needs, identify gaps, and create solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.

  • Support the business in defining the strategy for financial systems and create and maintain the technical   roadmap to implement and support the strategy.

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of documentation on system configuration, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Support the business team through month end tasks and SOX related testing

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, Information Systems, Finance/Accounting, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10+ years of experience implementing and maintaining enterprise level financial systems, including system architecture and integration. Hand-on experience preferred.

  • 5+ years of total experience in product/team management

  • Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance, TM1, Cognos BI Tools, IBM Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), or similar financial applications

  • Experience writing and reviewing SQL queries is essential.

  • Fluent with finance processes and recommend tools that meet business requirements.

  • Proven ability to drive change and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Vendor management, tool selection and RFP process and working with senior management.

Salary Range: $120,350 to $145,000
