About the Opportunity 

Synthesis Health is looking for two fixed term part-time/full-time product analyst Interns to work for the upcoming academic year (September start date). Product analyst interns serve in an associate product analyst role, working closely with product analysts to learn the analyst role and provide administrative support to the product management team. This opportunity is for advanced undergraduate university students or currently enrolled graduate students. We will also consider new graduates within two years of receiving their degree.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provides basic administrative support to the product team. Assists with scheduling meetings, writing agendas, creating meeting notes, developing internal project communications, and other administrative responsibilities. 
  • Attends product meetings to observe requirement gathering. Participates in note-taking and follow-up.  
  • Tracks tasks and updates across product and development tools such as JIRA and Confluence.  
  • Supports internal communications across teams by organizing and updating key resources.  
  • Assists the Product Analyst in gathering and analyzing product requirements for software development. 
  • Helps prepare materials and documentations needed for development handoffs.  
  • Helps draft and update basic internal documentations, such as how to guides, FAQs.  
  • Under supervision, organizes and proofreads product release notes and training decks. 
  • Assists in developing training materials for internal teams and end-users. 
  • Attends product training sessions for implementation, support, and sales teams and assists the product facilitator as needed. 
  • Reviews ticketing system and flags any incoming product issues for the product analyst. 
  • Organizes and tags support tickets to help identify trends or recurring issues. 

 

About the Right Candidate 

As a product analyst intern, you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and juggle multiple projects with overlapping deadlines. You must be able to follow directions and pay close attention to details.  

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Must be enrolled in a university or diploma program as either advance undergraduate student or a graduate student.  
  • Must be in or graduated from a relevant degree program such as business administration, project management, software engineering, information systems, strategy. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Has exposure to, via direct experience or coursework, regulated industries, particularly the medical field.

Compensation and Benefits 

Compensation is paid in the currency of the country where the individual is hired. For this position, the salary range is $15-$20/hr CAD. Rate will be determined by the location the intern is hired. 

Other benefits include but not limited to: Medical, Dental, Vision, and a “Use as needed” vacation policy.
