- Client Overview: We are hiring for The Coalition, a flagship first-party studio within Xbox Game Studios known for the critically acclaimed "Gears of War" series. We are a diverse and talented team dedicated to pushing the limits of Microsoft's entertainment platform.
- Role Summary: As a Game Producer, you will be responsible for managing the Data Insights discipline and collaborating with multiple multidisciplinary teams. Your role will involve ensuring timely delivery and high quality of projects, managing dependencies, and creating a collaborative work environment.
4. What are the key responsibilities?
- Proactively identify dependencies and risks associated with meeting project milestones.
- Create, update, and present status reports to provide real-time visibility to the Studio Leadership team.
- Identify and improve task-related processes to enhance efficiency.
- Administer project-related processes, such as running scrums to identify dependencies and roadblocks.
- Oversee communication with stakeholders and support project development.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate milestones.
- Communicate goals to the team and motivate them to deliver on time and at a high-quality.
- Manage both internal and outsourced development teams.
5. What experience are we looking for to drive success?
- MUST-Have Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- 5+ years of Project Management or Production experience on console products
- Shipped a minimum of 1 game product (minimum 1 console)
- Production experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or other project management methodologies
- Experience managing cross-functional teams
- Good understanding of the game development cycle and its impact on business needs
- Experience shipping AAA quality games
- Experience managing development projects from concept to ship
- Experience managing multiple cross-functional teams
- Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working in the gaming industry
- Familiarity with Microsoft products and technologies
