- Client Overview: The Coalition Studio is a Microsoft first-party development studio located in Vancouver, Canada. As the official home of the Gears of War franchise, their objective is to push the limits of Microsoft's entertainment platforms and devices.
- Role Summary: As a Producer, you will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with other Producers and discipline leads to drive milestones, and creating a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
4. What are the key responsibilities?
- Sprint planning, execution, dependency management, and evaluation of priorities
- Communicating goals to the team and motivating them to execute on time and at a high-quality level
- Proactive risk management and mitigation
- Creating, updating, and presenting status and information to the leadership team
- Identifying task-related processes to improve efficiency
- Managing inter-team dependencies
- Providing regular capacity plan updates
- Focusing on project development with an emphasis on team empowerment
- Supporting Agile development in the team
5. What experience are we looking for to drive success?
- MUST-Have Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of production experience on console products
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Extensive knowledge of production tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience managing cross-functional teams through different game phases (Pre-Production, Production, Finaling)
