Join our team as an Investment Governance Portfolio Process and Controls Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in engaging with senior stakeholders and supporting Digital & Product Services (DPS) Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Our team is dedicated to ensuring alignment and transparency in portfolio governance, articulating the multi-year tech investment narrative, and maintaining financial controls and governance processes.

As a Portfolio Governance Process & Controls Vice President within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will engage with senior stakeholders, articulate the tech investment narrative, and support DPS OKRs. Your role involves ensuring financial alignment, managing key processes, and utilizing in-house tools to guide users. Collaborate with Line of Business (LOB) Financial & Business Managers to address ad-hoc queries and support financial planning and analysis activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including the DPS CFO and Business Managers, to ensure alignment and transparency in portfolio governance.
- Articulate the multi-year tech investment narrative to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the achievement of DPS OKRs by aligning portfolio activities with strategic goals.
- Work closely with Planning & Analysis (P&A) teams to ensure financial alignment and accuracy; Support ad hoc projects as necessary.
- Serve as the point of contact for key processes such as Benefits review, Monthly Estimate Forecast, and timesheet status; lead additional analyses as required by senior management.
- Guide users on DPS processes using in-house tools like myIG, PI, and reporting tools.
- Address ad-hoc queries from senior stakeholders in coordination with LOB Financial & Business Managers.
- Prepare, consolidate, review, and analyze key financial activities, including budget and mid-year forecast.
- Execute processes with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Analyze LOB business models and strategic initiatives to understand financial results.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with LOBs and corporate functions.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Proven experience in investment governance, portfolio management, or a related field.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to articulate complex investment narratives clearly and concisely.
- Experience with financial controls and alignment processes.
- Proficiency in using reporting and data analysis tools (e.g., Cognos, myDATA).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address ad-hoc queries effectively.
- 6 years of professional experience in handling large amounts of data.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint), Alteryx, and Tableau.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
- Previous experience in a Technology finance/planning role in banking or financial services.
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
- Self-starter driven to excel and initiate improvements where necessary.
