The Portfolio Administrator provides accurate and timely back-office support for all investment products involved in end-to-end trade processing. As a member of the Portfolio Administration team, this role leverages strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset to deliver operational excellence and support the firm’s commitment to exceptional client service.
Core Responsibilities:- Monitor custom programs daily for new Portfolio Management recommendations and input trades into trade ticket systems.
- Review Portfolio Manager recommendations and ensure accurate, timely trade execution and settlement.
- Identify issues, assist in determining corrective actions, and support compliance requirements.
- Scan and update Portfolio Management recommendation documents for the trading group.
- Collaborate with Planning and Project teams to meet objectives and support ongoing projects.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and solutions.
- Support the team with other duties as assigned, adapting to changing business priorities.
- Post-secondary education or related experience in finance or investment administration.
- Minimum two years of back-office experience in financial services.
- High accuracy rate in data entry and strong attention to detail.
- Analytical and mathematical ability.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- High degree of professionalism and maturity.
- Ability to take direction, accept responsibility, and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
This position comes with a competitive base salary hiring range of $58,000 - $64,000; dependent on experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity.
