The Planner for Cytiva is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining production schedules to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products and services to customers. 

 

This position reports to the Planning & Engineering Change Management Manager and is part of the Cytiva - Aseptic Filling Operations team located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. This role is an on-site position. 

 

What you will do: 

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. 

  • Coordinate with Service, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to plan and adjust production schedules as needed. 

  • Monitor, measure, and report on performance during Daily Management meetings. 

  • Identify potential delays or challenges in the planning process and apply problem-solving methods to resolve issues and ensure execution. 

  • Coordinate with Sales Operations, Procurement, Customer Account Managers, and Logistics teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and delivery of finished goods. 

 

Who you are: 

  • Post-secondary education in supply chain, operations, business management or equivalent work experience is an asset 

  • 3+ years of planning experience in a manufacturing environment 

  • 3+ years’ experience working ERP systems with a thorough understanding of core supply chain fundamentals  

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

  • Applying Danaher Business Systems (DBS) tools or continuous improvement methodologies in a manufacturing environment 

  • Working towards or holds a professional supply chain certification (ASCM, APICS, SCMP) 

 

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 CAD This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. 

 

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
