This role will play a critical role in maintaining payroll governance, data accuracy, privacy, and process efficiency, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across markets.
What you will be expected to do
- Manage end-to-end payroll (salaries, bonuses, deductions) and ensure accuracy for all employees.
- Coordinate with HRBPs, Finance, and other departments each month to gather payroll inputs and facilitate fund transfers.
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations, labour laws, and statutory requirements, including filing payroll taxes and reports. Maintain monthly statutory tax receipts for all countries.
- Maintain and update payroll records (e.g., new hires, terminations, transfers) in payroll systems and process changes in job status, titles, and compensation.
- Compile and present payroll data, including summaries of earnings, taxes, and deductions for management.
- Resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, deductions, and salary payments. Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in timesheets and payroll records.
- Prepare and provide audit-related documents to auditors and coordinate internal and external payroll audits.
You might be a strong candidate if you have:
- 3+ years of experience in payroll process management.
- Working knowledge of payroll software.
- Basic knowledge of tax procedures.
- Familiarity with employee benefits and other wage deductions.
- Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
