Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Partner Relationship Manager will report to the Head of Channel Partnerships in the Channel Partnerships Department - Health and Benefits Division. This role is responsible for assisting the Head of Channel Partnerships in managing business relationships with recordkeepers, consultants, brokerage firms, payroll companies and other channel partners. This position will assist in on-boarding large opportunities and will maintain these institutional relationships. This position will be expected to grow these relationships and communicate on the status with their manager, Sales Executives, and other appropriate team members. The primary responsibilities of this role include managing our institutional relationships, strategic plans to expand relationships, projects, and client communications, coordinating the on-boarding of large new relationships, and working closely with Legal, Operations and Technology as well as with the other internal team members.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Coordinate activities around partner relationships such as recordkeepers, consulting firms, brokers and other channel partners
• Receive and provide communication internally and externally regarding client deliverables
• Work with distribution partners to expand business
• Organize client conference calls and meetings with salespeople to determine client needs and then outline and implement project plans
• Participate in internal meetings to identify and document tasks to be completed, then design and coordinate/implement project plan
• Partners with representatives from Technology, Legal, Operations and Client Service
• Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in account management or partner relationship management
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field
Skills & Abilities:
• Strong time management, organizational and planning skills
• Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
• Ability to leverage existing relationships in the industry
• Excellent analytical skills with a proactive nature
• An affinity for accuracy and efficiency
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• An aptitude for prioritization and multi-tasking
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• A drive to learn and apply new concepts quickly
• Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
• Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft suite of products
Other Requirements:
• Moderate travel (33%)
Compensation & Benefits
$106,000- $130,000 per year
