The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.
Your Responsibilities
As a Remote Part Time Student, Reporting & Analytics for John Deere Headquarters you will:

• Explore new analytical problems and develop creative solutions using data and analytics.
• Ingest, evaluate, and prepare data for use in algorithms and solutions, leveraging PySpark and engineering data pipelines to support robust analytics workflows.
• Creates tools and dynamic visualizations to accelerate insight generation for our customers.
• Research new analysis and visualization methodologies alongside domain subject matter experts from areas such as Engineering, Manufacturing, & UX.
• Utilize Palantir to enable access, integration, and analysis of ERP Data, supporting enterprise-wide data initiatives.
• Communicate with Stakeholders on the use of the EDL (Enterprise Data Lake), SAP HANA, & other Data Structures

What Skills You Need

• Ideally you will be pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline; others may apply
• Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited university/college
• Graduation date of December 2026 or later
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Available to work 16-20 hours/weekly during the academic year (Monday - Friday Anytime Between 6AM - 5PM CST)
• Available to work 35-40 hours/weekly during the summer semester (Monday - Friday Anytime Between 6AM - 5PM CST)
• Must be available to work on and complete assignments remotely during the academic year
• Knowledge of applied statistical analysis, modeling techniques, and data visualization methods
• Ability to demonstrate use of programming languages SQL, R, Python/PySpark
• Ability to demonstrate use of visualization tools such as Tableau & Power BI
