The Oracle Financials Functional Consultant will analyze customer business needs, perform hands-on design and configuration of Oracle EBS Financial modules, provide application support, gather requirements for enhancements, and engage in change management discussions.
Job Title: Oracle Financials Functional Consultant (EBS)
Role: Open to Full Time
Location: Vancouver, BC Canada
Responsibilities and Duties
- Understand customers business needs and requirements.
- Analyze business requirements of assigned customers and/or project(s)
- Ability to do hands-on design & configuration of Oracle EBS Financial / Oracle Cloud modules on the functional side.
- Application Support, Maintenance, Enhancements for Oracle Financials.
- Gather, Analyze requirements for enhancements and development.
- Liaison with Client team & business and offshore support team
- Prepare support documents, MD50/MD70 for enhancements/ Developments.
- Participate in Change Management discussion in CAB meetings.
- EPM knowledge preferable
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent working experience
- Minimum of 7-8 years of experience with Oracle Financials modules.
- Experience with at least 4-5 end to end Oracle EBS Financials implementation.
- Ability to interact with CFO/Accounting Controllers
- Hands-on experience with GL, AR, AP, FA modules. Oracle Projects knowledge is preferred
- Demonstrated experience as a senior resource assisting in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- Good communication and presentation skills to be able to interact with business stakeholders.
