This position is for an Operations Manager at Lansdowne Centre | Richmond, BC.
About You
As an Operations Manager, you are responsible for the oversight of the daily operation and routine maintenance of the physical building systems and tenant requests. You are driven by customer service and take pride in the quality of work and service delivered by your team. You work well with individuals at all levels including clients, external vendors, corporate teams (HR, IT, Leasing, etc.) and work collaboratively with the General Manager and other on-site management team members. You have a consistent track record in leading, running and successfully carrying out projects as well as implementing preventive maintenance plans for large commercial assets. You meet and exceed business objectives ensuring consistent achievement of all critical metrics and operational finances. You are forwarding thinking and innovative.
In This Role

Provide guidance and training the building operations team.

Able to effectively multi-task and to recognize and address meaningful and time-sensitive tasks.

Project manage client’s improvement projects.

Develop annual operating and capital budgets.

Conduct tender process for third-party service providers and negotiate service agreements.

Administer and ensure compliance of the terms of all tenant leases
What You’ll Bring
-
Minimum 5 years related work experience in a facilities management capacity within commercial buildings.

Experience supervising, scheduling, and training of site staff including Maintenance workers, Building Operators, Day Porters, and Security

Tenant Coordination including reviewing and approving tenant drawings/plans. Inspections of tenant construction and post construction inspection and list of deficiencies

Strong skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook on a computer and smartphone.

5th/4th Class Engineer certified or equivalent preferred.
Bonus skills and experience

Knowledge of Direct Digital Controls systems operation and troubleshooting.

Experience with Yardi

Flexible working hours and response to emergencies.

Experience with insurance claims including bodily injury and property damage

Valid driver’s license
Approximate Salary Range for Role: $100,000.00 to $130,0000
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries
for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
