What You’ll Do:Job Role and Responsibility
Nue is looking for a highly hands-on, creative, and organized intern to lead a full refresh of our office space. This role offers real ownership from day one. You will manage the project end-to-end, from assessing the current space to designing, sourcing, and physically executing updates.

This is not a shadowing or observational internship. You will be trusted to make decisions, manage a budget, and bring a vision to life.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both design thinking and rolling up their sleeves to execute.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the current office space and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Propose a clear design plan, including layouts, mood boards, sketches, or visuals
  • Source furniture, materials, and decor (online and local vendors)
  • Coordinate purchasing and deliveries within a defined budget
  • Physically execute the refresh, including:
    • Painting
    • Furniture assembly
    • Space setup and reconfiguration
  • Manage timelines and track progress to completion
  • Communicate updates and design decisions clearly to stakeholders

  • Highly self-directed and comfortable making independent decisions
  • Creative, with a strong visual and spatial design sense
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and budget-aware
  • Willing and able to do hands-on work (painting, assembling furniture, moving items)
  • Comfortable sourcing materials and coordinating vendors
  • Able to present ideas clearly and confidently

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $20 – $20 per hour.
